The Music that Keeps me Dancing Naked

I’m going to try something new here on my blog.  It is inspired from a fellow Goddess and good friend of mine, Harmony Green.  Of course, she has the official rights to this format, so here’s to you, Harmony.  I hope you don’t mind if I borrow on your deal.

First of all, I need to explain why I’m trying this.  All of my life’s important, and sometimes not so important, moments have been defined by music.  Actually, my entire life is defined by music.  For as long as I can remember, music has been the vehicle through which my emotions flow and through which I process my emotions and feelings.  Music is important to me and is such a part of me that I cannot imagine a day without it.

There are often times that I cannot put into thoughts or words how I feel, and a song appears out of nowhere that could have been written about me and what I am experiencing at the moment.  And then that song becomes my favorite song until a new experience comes.  I even have a playlist on my Galaxy phone for my moments.  My friend, Harmony, writes a blog called Danspirations that is an homage to Dan Fogelberg.  Each morning she listens to a Dan song at random and then writes her impressions either in prose or poetry.  That is my inspiration.

Now, I am not sure I can make the everyday blog, but my intention is to listen to a song each morning from my playlist and see where it takes me.  This is not an homage to anyone in particular.  Well, that is not entirely true!  It is an homage to me in all my Dancing Nakedness.

So, if you’re ready . . . .  Here’s the first one!
